A battery pack is dead weight the tire carries every mile. Load rating matters more on an EV than on a comparable petrol car.
The torque
Instant torque off the line scrubs tread. It's why a set on an EV can go 25,000 miles where the same tire on a sedan goes 40,000.
The wear pattern
Heavy, quiet, instant-torque cars wear inner shoulders first. If yours are wearing on the inside edge, get the alignment checked before you buy a new set.
